February’s “Cool Women” are Jessica Culpepper & Mary Buckheit
The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) at the San Diego LGBT Community Center is pleased to announce another installment of its popular series, Coffee & Conversation with Cool Women, on Tuesday, February 2, at 7PM in the Center’s Community Resource Room. Coffee & Conversation is a monthly event featuring Tryce Czyczynska interviewing notable women from the community, “Oprah-style.”
We are very excited to announce that, in honor of Valentine’s Day, we are featuring romantic couple and creative partners Jessica Culpepper and Mary Buckheit as our “cool women” for February. Jessica is the Program Manager at the Hillcrest Youth Center and Mary is a full-time writer for ESPN.com; together they host webisodes on FlawLes TV.
Join us for coffee, dessert and a dynamic conversation about love, sports, activism, and what it’s like to be lesbian YouTube sensations! This event is FREE and open to all. For more information, please contact Abby Schwartz, Women’s Resource Center coordinator, at (619) 692-2077, ext. 212.
