People, Opinions & Politics: One Pride Board Member Resigns, Others to Follow
Three Pridegate Board Members Resigning
I’ve just finished long discussions with several San Diego GLBT community leaders and elected officials. It is confirmed that one of the infamous three remaining board members of San Diego Pride has resigned, effective today. The other two are expected to resign sometime in February.
Word is that the resignations resulted when some of our GLBT elected officials stepped in and contacted the Pridegate board members directly to address the controversy.
Expect an official joint press release from the elected officials regarding the Pride controversy to be issued very soon.
This is great news. But there still needs to be a release of a public audit of their finances.
