Investment programme
Renna announced plans on 15 August 2025 to invest over seven billion rubles in the Korenovsk Dairy Canning Plant and Factory of Real Ice Cream in Krasnodar Krai. Work runs through 2028, financed with company funds and borrowing. Plant director Igor Moskovtsev reported an operating mini thermal power station and a completed 4,400-pallet warehouse. The company planned five new production lines by year-end and expected output to rise by more than 25% at maximum productivity.
- Deadline: 2028.
- Five lines: planned.
- Warehouse: reported completed.
The earlier capacity announcement
The expansion had been outlined on 30 January 2025. At that stage, Renna described equipment renewal and additional installations in several phases. Moskovtsev attributed the need for modernisation to demand that the existing plant could no longer keep up with. The company expected the work to enable several new products and additional employment. He cited a preliminary estimate that Russia’s ice-cream market had grown 15% in 2024. These were the company’s January expectations and assessment; the announcement did not establish how many jobs had subsequently been created.
Export results before the investment update
A separate company report published on 12 February 2025 put 2024 ice-cream exports at 2,300 tonnes, up 18% from the previous year. Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Abkhazia were the largest importing destinations. South Korea and the UAE joined the buyer list during 2024. Moskovtsev said sales were being developed in those two markets, while Russia remained the group’s priority. That report described a distribution network including Trading House Renna and Renna Distribution, with products sold through 250,000 outlets and exports reaching twenty countries.
An earlier export workshop plan
Export-oriented manufacturing also appeared in an earlier project announcement. On 24 September 2019, Krasnodar Krai deputy governor Andrei Korobka told Interfax that the Korenovsk Dairy Canning Plant would build a workshop to make ice cream for overseas customers. The report identified the plant as established in 2002 and wholly owned by Moscow-based Renna Holding. It named Korovka iz Korenovki and Gustiyar among its ice-cream brands. The 2019 statement described a proposed workshop; it did not provide a commissioning result for that project.
