Earlier growth and product development
An Interfax report reproduced by Bonum on 18 January 2022 recorded more than 1,000 semitrailers produced in 2021, up 40% from 2020. Deputy regional governor Igor Sorokin said a new Aksai-district factory was planned for 2022, intended to raise production to 170 vehicles monthly. The company had been founded in 2014.
Sorokin also described an expanded 2021 range: curtain-sided and curtain-sided flatbed semitrailers, tipping grain trailers, tipping tractor trailers and grain-handling equipment. He said the new products had passed testing and were working domestically and abroad.
The Aksai factory's earlier development
Bonum's 8 August 2022 statement described a regional delegation's visit four days earlier. Company representatives demonstrated assembly and welding areas and showed a new paint booth that was approaching commissioning. Some employees had already moved into the office block.
The visit included workplace facilities such as a buffet and showers. Deputy governor Alexander Skryabin and regional economy officials discussed development plans with the company. Skryabin instructed the ministry to continue supporting the manufacturer, according to Bonum's account.
Production and modernization reported in 2024
On 18 January 2024, Interfax reported 2,451 Bonum semitrailers produced during 2023, double the previous year's number, citing Sorokin. He put the workforce at approximately 1,000 specialists, a 40% increase. The company's three regional sites had undergone modernization, and it was manufacturing components including side guards and wing brackets for its own use.
At Aksai, a paint booth had entered operation and an additional 3,200 square metres of storage had been arranged. At Novocherkassk, a 4,500-square-metre cutting-and-bending building was prepared for launch, one production building was nearing completion and work on another had started.
A recent steel-coil transport product
In a 14 February 2025 announcement, Bonum described its presentation at the Regional Metal Trading conference in Sochi. Sales director Alexey Bykh introduced Bonum Coil, a 13.62-metre curtain-sided flatbed semitrailer designed to carry steel coils.
The company said the product series drew on customer requirements and its engineers' experience. Bykh described a reinforced structure adapted to Russian roads, presenting reliability under difficult operating conditions as a product benefit.
