The loan test
Ozon Bank told Interfax on 8 September 2026 it was testing loans for new marketplace cars with selected customers. Terms include:
- 1–8 years; maximum 5 million roubles; down payment from 20%.
- No early-repayment penalties or fees; no initial casco or OSAGO requirement.
Over 3,000 dealer models are available. The bank ranked 18th by assets in Interfax-100 for Q2 2026; active customers exceeded 43 million.
Banking infrastructure
Interfax reported on 12 April 2023 that Ozon had completed the reorganisation of Ecom Bank and Ozon Bank. The combined business would operate under the Ozon Bank brand with a universal banking licence. The process had started in September 2022. Ozon said completion would leave existing terms for individual and corporate clients unchanged. Ecom Bank, which held the universal licence, was to succeed to the rights and obligations of the earlier Ozon Bank, which held a basic licence. Approval for the combination had been granted in February 2023.
The marketplace's vehicle-sales launch
On 27 September 2023, Kommersant reported the launch of car sales on Ozon, citing a company representative's comments to Vedomosti. The service initially covered Moscow and the Moscow region in Russia, with more cities planned. At that stage, vehicles came only from Delivery Car, an online Chery dealer. Warranty commitments and servicing remained the dealer's responsibility. The company then said it had no plans to provide car-purchase loans. Its earlier 2020 trial had allowed marketplace reservations, while buyers paid at the dealership.
Used cars added in 2025
A separate TASS report of 13 March 2025 recorded Ozon's expansion into used-car sales. The company named Pango Cars and BorisHof among the participating dealers and said purchases were available in Moscow, the Moscow region and Krasnodar. Only professional companies could sell used cars through the platform; listed vehicles had undergone dealers' technical and legal checks, Ozon stated. Ozon Auto head Alexei Makhmudov said the assortment would expand. His statement put customer vehicle orders since the 2023 launch at more than 1,500.
