Sollers started full-cycle production of SF1 vans at its Alabuga plant in Yelabuga, Tatarstan, on 24 April 2025. The first vehicle left the line during a live broadcast. SF1 shares a production line with Atlant vans. Payload is up to 965 kg. Cargo-passenger and passenger versions were planned for the third and fourth quarters respectively. Sales director Marat Sharapov described the model as an addition to the company's light-commercial range.
Specifications and ordering
In its 10 April preorder announcement, Sollers priced the van from RUB 1.99 million. The 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine delivers 136 hp, uses AI-92 petrol and meets Euro-5 standards, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Body height is 1.9 metres. The load compartment holds 5.15 cubic metres, with protective lining, lighting and securing loops. Two gross-weight versions are offered: 2,600 kg and 2,499 kg. Standard equipment includes two front airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, air conditioning and heated front seats. Warranty lasts two years or 200,000 km, whichever comes first.
Production background
The existing Atlant operation on the same industrial site predates SF1. In its first-half 2023 results, reported on 29 August that year, Sollers said it had moved Atlant to full-cycle production in Yelabuga. The group also began a diesel-engine-family project and a project for full-cycle Argo production in Ulyanovsk. UAZ launched a Patriot model with an updated rear suspension. Chief executive Nikolay Sobolev identified localisation across the manufactured model range as a priority. He also described the planned restart of serial manufacturing in Vladivostok and frame-based commercial vehicle projects at the UAZ industrial park.
The group's 2024 results, released on 23 April 2025, described the preceding industrial expansion: tourist and intercity SA9 and SA6 buses entered serial production in Vladivostok, while TR medium-duty trucks began production in Ulyanovsk. Sollers reported localisation of components for its own and UAZ ranges, including six-speed gearboxes in Zavolzhye and vehicle frames in Ulyanovsk. A stamped-body-parts production project had also been announced. The consolidated financial figures for 2024 were:
- Revenue: RUB 91.8 billion, against RUB 82.3 billion a year earlier.
- EBITDA: RUB 6.9 billion.
- Net profit: RUB 3.7 billion.
